The founder of Keeptnkidssafe.com is Blaire Pancake. She is the daughter of Dr. Bruce and Debbie Pancake and is the oldest of four daughters. Her sisters are Debbie Erin (21), Brooke (16), and Ally (14). A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Blaire is a graduate of Bright School and The Baylor School. She is a Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a B.S. Degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology. Blaire is currently a graduate student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
She is a strong advocate for promoting awareness and offering the proper knowledge to keep kids in our State safe. Her involvement began in high school when a girl that she tutored became a victim of child abuse. She volunteers for and supports several organizations in Tennessee, including The Exchange Club, Children’s Advocacy Center, Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, and local law enforcement agencies in the Hamilton County area. She is currently organizing several crusades to raise money and awareness for the cause. Her programs include the Prevent Child Abuse Wristband Campaign, Pancake’s For Kids Breakfast and Clips-For-Kids fundraisers. Blaire has launched a statewide PSA Campaign promoting the Children First specialty license plate in which proceeds from the sales of the support statewide child abuse prevention programs. She will also be seen on the national public service announcement campaign for the National Exchange Club aimed at child abuse prevention.
Blaire has recently served as the Governor's Spokesperson for a Safe and Drug Free Tennessee Program with the State of Tennessee's Department of Education. Blaire was recently honored with a proclamation by the 105th General
Assembly of the Tennessee Legislature for her outstanding service to
the State of Tennessee. She is the current Miss Metropolitan USA and will compete for the Miss Tennessee USA in October 2007.
